Hi, I just had a follow on twitter form a band called THE SHOOTS, After listening to them on their website I think they are well worth a mention on this blog, The Band has a distinctive sound, In fact when their Girl singer is on vocals,They sound quiet like Blondie, And they are one of my favourite bands, So lads' let the lady sing, She sounds better than you do! Musically this band is superb and although the lead guitar is a bit overpowering,The sound of the guitars are great, Perhaps the sound engineer should pay more attention to the vocal so that the music does not drown the vocals, apart from that , They are a brilliant Band, Please read biography bellow'

Artist Biography'
The Shoots are an Indie Rock Originals Band hailing from South Wales. This 5 piece band have a classic feel to their current, edgy and unique sound.
Following a short scout of the local music scene the band were formed by Gareth Voyle singer/songwriter/guitarist) who teamed up with vocalist Rachel Moss and drummer Richard Keen. It was through Keen that the band were to meet their Bassist Bryan Seaward. The songs in the main have come through rhythm guitarist Gareth Voyle where his indie/punk rock infuences are apparent throught the sound of the band. The Shoots recruited their final member in Lead guitarist/songwriter Aled Rees to complete the sound the band were seeking.
Despite a relatively short amount of time together, have already made a big impact on the local music scene featuring on a range of radio stations and publications. The band are planning a range of gigs, have entered the International Surface Festival, to showcase their music.
The band is also planning on recording and releasing their EP and sharing their sound with all and sundry.
