Is BBC radio 1 age predudice & should we boycot the station ?

I am writing this as an ageing musician that I am, i feel rather insulted by Radio 1 because they will not play music by artists over a certain age ie  Madonna , Sir Cliff Richard, Sir Tom Jones , Rolling Stones, Rod Stewart , Sir Paul McCartney etc. What is the matter with the idiots who run this station ? All these artists are capable of making great recordings so why not play their music ? , After all most of the so called music on Radio 1 is a complete load of  noise not worth listening to, So come on Radio 1 , Let us have our good music back !

All of these artists are still great but not played on Radio 1 it is ludicrous !
They are not on the scrap heap yet !
